Like a box of Whittaker’s chocolates, throughout the week we sampled all four of the crafts. And of course they were all harder than they looked. I particularly struggled with the wrapping in tie dye and the specific technique used to hold the fabric in Chikankari. Even though I was determined (and one hand cramp away) from mastering the techniqe, eventually, Naseem brought out the embroidery hoop as a subtle hint. I guess I’m still on my Learners.
